Man Utd eye three stars in mega £210m transfer raid

Manchester United have Mario Mandzukic, Declan Rice and Kalidou Koulibaly on a list of transfer targets, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be naive to think the squad doesn’t need a vast improvement given their abysmal start to the season and Goal.com say they have three players in mind for a mega raid.

But the trio will cost around £210m…

The transfer list includes West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who is valued at approximately £80m, and Napoili’s Koulibaly is expected to cost as much as £120m.

Then at a cut-price deal, Juventus outcast Mario Mandzukic could be available for something between just £5m and £10m.

The Croatian striker would be a short-term signing — coming in to score goals until the end of the season, when United can then go into the summer transfer market and target a striker such as Lyon’s Moussa Dembele or Germany international Timo Werner.

Moreover, The Sun report Solskjaer doesn’t want to lose Marcos Rojo in January so the defender is set to stay until the end of the season at the very least.

The Argentine almost joined Everton on deadline day in the summer, as per the Daily Express.

Let’s see what happens but United’s re-build under Solskjaer will be judged on the next transfer window or two. We feel he deserves that chance.
