Rashford leads the line: Predicted Manchester United line-up to take on Brighton at the Amex

Our predicted Manchester United line-up to face Brighton and Hove Albion tomorrow evening. Kick-off is at 8pm.

The Red Devils must overcome the in-form Seagulls at the Amex this Thursday to further cement their top-four finish.

Erik ten Hag believes their opponents will be keen on avenging the FA Cup semi-final, in which United defeated Brighton on penalties to book their place in the final.

On the opening day of the 2022/2023 campaign, and the first game of Ten Hag’s tenure, the Seagulls picked up a 2-1 win at Old Trafford in the reverse league fixture, so United have some revenge to consider themselves.

Predicted United line-up

De Gea,

Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Shaw, Dalot

Aaron Wan-Bissaka kept prolific attacker Kaoru Mitoma quiet throughout their last meeting and can certainly do the same tomorrow night.

Harry Maguire has returned from his brief injury but Luke Shaw’s form at centre-back has been outstanding, with United going unbeaten in all nine matches he’s started in a back two in the position, so Ten Hag will likely opt for him to partner Victor Lindelof.

Casemiro, Eriksen

Antony, Fernandes (C), Sancho

Antony and Jadon Sancho look to be in top form and high confidence as of late, so those two with Bruno Fernandes taking his usual place provide a considerable attacking threat that Brighton will have to account for.

Rashford

The Englishman will be adamant about adding as many goals to his tally before the season ends. He currently sits on 29 in all competitions, with 11 assists to his name.
