Three youngsters Man Utd are considering loaning out in January transfer window

Manchester United are considering loaning out three of their promising academy stars in the January transfer window.

The Manchester Evening News report that Ethan Galbraith, Arnau Puigmal and Ethan Laird could all make temporary exits when the window reopens in under two months time.

Laird and Galbraith both made their first-team debut in the Europa League against Astana almost one year ago, while versatile Spanish teenager Puigmal is yet to feature under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The trio are recognised as some of the most talented players within Neil Wood’s U23 squad and could all benefit from first-team experience lower down the leagues as they aim to break through into Solskjaer’s first-team plans.

MEN adds that Galbraith, Puigmal and Laird were all considered by the club for loan moves this summer but extenuating circumstances prevented earlier exits.

Each player was sidelined with injury during the transfer window, but could all head out on loan until the end of the season.

Dylan Levitt, James Garner, Matej Kovar and Di’Shon Bernard are among a number of United first-team hopefuls currently enjoying loan spells elsewhere.
