A great day out for those at Old Trafford – to see Raphael Varane in the flesh immediately after he was announced as a Manchester United player, shortly before seeing the Reds crush Leeds 5-1 on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Manchester United finally announced the signing of World Cup-winner Raphael Varane.
Renowned as one of the best defenders in the world, Varane has had to wait for his big announcement but it looks like he will join up with the first-team for training next week.
Fans have every reason to be happy with the result. Leeds came for their annual rollocking and United could’ve scored more than five.
The Paul Pogba chance in the first-half stands out, but the Frenchman went on to assist four goals to mark an excellent performance.

On top of that, Bruno Fernandes scored his first hat-trick for the club.
