Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been spotted appearing to break lockdown rules in his native Argentina.

Rojo is currently on loan at Estudiantes and made just one appearance for his boyhood club before the coronavirus pandemic put an indefinite suspension on football.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Rojo has been filmed by his brother in a video which was posted on Instagram before soon being deleted.

However, it was not deleted quick enough for the media to get their hands on it and this could land the centre-back in some trouble.

Rojo has been seen smoking and playing cards with friends in what seems an ignorant act from the experience defender.

Argentina’s lockdown period has been recently extended by president Alberto Fernandez until at least May 10.

Rojo will certainly receive some backlash online but it remains to be seen whether there will be any disciplinary action by United after the incident.

Regardless, the erratic defender is surplus to requirements to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and will most likely leave Old Trafford this summer.
