Man Utd ‘agree terms’ with French midfield star valued at €90m

Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

SoccerLink, as sourced by GFFN suggest terms have been agreed with the Frenchman and United, though a fee has yet to be agreed.

United, along with Spurs and Juventus have proposed a €60m offer to sign Ndombele, but Lyon President Aulas is demanding a fee in the range of €90m.

However, while personal terms have been agreed with the 22-year-old midfielder, he has no intention to force a move away from Lyon this summer despite an interest in playing his football abroad.

Ndombele is considered one of the brightest midfield talents in Europe, and at just 22, could be exactly what United are looking for in midfield.

The Frenchman is suited to a defensive midfield ‘destroyer’ role and excelled in 55 appearances for Lyon last season (who scored). This is a deal the Reds should definitely look to get over the line to strengthen in midfield, even if they have to increase their offer of closer to the €90m fee which is demanded.
