Manchester United are interested in signing the Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, and manager Ruben Amorim has requested that the club get the deal done.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, the player is a “priority target” for Manchester United.

The 21-year-old Cameroon midfielder is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he has been exceptional in the Premier League since joining Brighton. The Seagulls are open to selling the midfielder for a fee of around €60-70 million.

Man United could use Carlos Baleba

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United are willing to pay for him. Several other clubs are securing his signature, and they need to move quickly if they want to get the deal done. They need more control in the middle of the park, and the 21-year-old would be an exceptional acquisition. He will help out defensively and add drive to the side as well.

The technically gifted midfielder is excellent when it comes to taking on players in the middle of the park as well. His ability to beat players will add a new dimension to the Manchester United midfield.

The reported asking price might seem expensive, but the player has the potential to justify the outlay. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United are prepared to break the Bank for him.

The opportunity to play for Manchester United will be exciting for the young midfielder as well. He would get to compete alongside quality players at Old Trafford. Manchester United could nurture him into a top-class Premier League performer.

The African is already operating at a high level at this stage of his career, and he will only improve with coaching and experience. He is still only 21, and Amorim could do wonders with the player

  1. Manchester United needs to break the bank and sign Baleba now or risk missing out next season. We need strength in that holding position.

  2. I see no reason why United will not break the bank to get him if Amorim wants him. United has put the saving and building the reputation of Amorim above the needs of the club. History is being created. The manager who led us to 15th place finish has his priorities over riding those of the club.

  3. If Carlos Baleba is within €60 and €70 valuation, from what I have just read, it means he’s not beyond our reach.
Personal terms with Manchester United wouldn’t be a problem. Club to club agreement would be somewhat difficult, as Brighton wouldn’t like to sell him on the cheap. The board needs to expedite action to bringing Baleba to Old Trafford.

  4. Am always pleased with Amorim’s targets!,just break the bank!(the igneos)we want to see hm at old trafford

  5. I see it’s only two players we should sign one is baleba another is keeper dunaruma from there we can complete in top 3

  6. Baleba’s qualties look good both on paper and to the eye. If the price is right, I’d say go for it. It’s not just his skills alone, though, it’s that he would enable Bruno to roam more freely given we’d have more legs and more support in midfield. That permits Bruno to join the attack more often, which he’ll need to do in some games especially when breaking down a low block.

Baleba is basically a blend of Ugarte and Mainoo. He’s a good fit for Amorim’s system.

  7. I cannot see us as MU fans any real changes unless
Maguire Casemiro and few other lazy players they will take advantage of the new signings we will finish
in lower half again replace the goal keeper now

Kinectics is fine for the players but what are the coaching staff doing are they as lazy as the players
I can see a new manager before Christmas

  8. Is there much thinking going on behind the scenes at utd? These players we’re buying, will be missing over winter when the Africans cup starts, what will they do then?
