Fiorentina have still not received a formal offer from Manchester United for Sofyan Amrabat which has led to the player in question becoming frustrated.
The Morocco international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for months, and the fact we’ve yet to make a formal offer for a player available at a cut price suggests to me that United may not be completely convinced by him.
Amrabat, 27, only has one year left on his contract at Fiorentina so they’re bound to try cash in while they can.
But Fiorentina have yet to recieve an offer from United, with The Telegraph claiming that not even a verbal proposal was put forward.
The midfielder and his entourage are therefore ‘frustrated’ at the situation and could start to look at interest from elsewhere.
A host of clubs have been linked with Amrabat this summer, including: Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Napoli.
United need to make a decision soon because the transfer window shuts on Friday. It is believed that Tottenham’s Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg is another option for the Reds.
