Saudi Pro League clubs willing to pay transfer fee for Eric Bailly

Saudi Pro League clubs have shown a willingness to pay a small transfer fee for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.

The Ivory Coast international has been cast out of the first-team squad by Erik ten Hag and has been training away from the first team as the club look to move him.

Given Bailly’s track record for rash challenges, and or forward’s proneness to injury, it makes perfect sense to make him train alone at Carrington.

Turkish outfit Besiktas have reportedly agreed personal terms with Bailly, who is willing to move there on a three-year deal.

However, Besiktas want to sign the centre-back for free which means United would have to terminate the player’s contract.

But is is claimed that there is interest in Saudi Arabia and they are willing to offer United a fee in exchange to cushion a deal, as per Ryan Taylor from The Express.

That would suit United a lot more than allowing Bailly to move to Besiktas for free.
