Our predicted Manchester United line-up to face Aston Villa at Old Trafford this Sunday. Kick-off is at 2pm.

The Red Devils will be looking to bounce back from last night’s affairs, in which they squandered a two-goal lead in the first half to ultimately draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur.

A result this weekend won’t come easy though, as they take on an in-form Aston Villa side who boast a 10-game unbeaten streak heading into the game.

Unai Emery has the unexpected highflyers chasing the European football spots whilst sitting in sixth place, despite being relegation candidates earlier this season under Steven Gerrard’s reign.

United are winless against the Midlands side in the league since September 2021. Time for redemption.

Predicted United line-up

De Gea;

Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Shaw, Dalot

Harry Maguire missed the match against Tottenham Hotspur due to injury and Erik ten Hag seemed unconvinced that the defender would return to fitness in time to face Villa.

Casemiro, Eriksen

Antony, Fernandes (C), Sancho

Jadon Sancho netted the opening goal against Spurs with an emphatic finish and went on to display a top-quality and threatening performance.

Rashford

I didn’t even realise Anthony Martial came on last night he made that little difference in the game, meanwhile, Marcus Rashford scored his 29th goal of the campaign. He should lead the line.

  1. Man united woes are catalysed by defense substitutions. The likes of malacia given opportunity and wan bissaka getting subbed has derail deserved victories
