Manchester United’s pursuit of Villarreal’s Pau Torres has seen them enquire about another one of the club’s biggest players.
That’s according to a recent report from 90min, who claim the Red Devils are keen on winger Arnaut Danjuma.
United, now under the guidance of new manager Erik Ten Hag, is rumoured to be interested in centre-back Torres as they look to transform the team’s backline.
However, although a new centre-back is understandably high up on the club’s wishlist, so is a new attacker – especially one that can play on the wing and fill the void left by Mason Greenwood.

Danjuma ticks all the boxes of a player that would be a great addition at Old Trafford.
Not only does he have experience with the English game having spent some time with Bournemouth in the past, but the last couple of seasons have also seen him grow in stature to become one of Europe’s most exciting wide players.
After featuring in 34 matches, in all competitions, this season, the 25-year-old has directly contributed to an impressive 20 goals, including netting six times in the UEFA Champions League.
Although United’s initial approach is only thought to be an enquiry, the 20-times league winners were handed a boost earlier in the year after the Dutch attacker admitted to being happy at Villarreal but not yet feeling ‘satisfied’ with his career.
“I’m grateful for what I’ve achieved, but I’m not satisfied yet,” Danjuma told BT Sport.
“I had a quite a few options at the end of last season, but coming to Villarreal was an easy decision.”
