Anthony Martial trying to force transfer to Serie A giants

It appears to have ended like any bad relationship. A point of no return for Anthony Martial.

Well, at least that is how the Italian press have described the forward’s situation at Manchester United.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim (as cited by the Mirror) Anthony Martial has “broken up” with United ahead of what he hopes will be a January transfer, just weeks after Ralf Rangnick’s appointment as interim manager.

The report also suggests Martial is now looking to force through a move to Juventus – where he seemingly thinks the grass is greener.

Juventus are in the middle of a financial mess at the moment, so it may be his only option to go there on loan for the remainder of the season.

Last week, Martial’s agent confirmed his client was seeking a way out of Old Trafford, but we later discovered that Rangnick knew nothing about this because the player has yet to confront his manager about wanting to leave the club.

They thought it would be a better idea to leak Martial’s desires to Sky Sports.

Stretty News reported not long ago that Newcastle had already made contact over signing Martial in January, with a number of Spanish clubs also interested.

The France international has featured 10 times this season, with just one goal coming in the 1-1 draw at home to Everton in October.
