Video: Raphael Varane posts training video from quarantine in Manchester

Raphael Varane is currently isolating in Manchester ahead of his proposed move to Manchester United, with only a medical required before the defender can sign his contract at the club.

Following the 4-0 win over Everton earlier this weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that the 28-year-old’s arrival into the United Kingdom was delayed due to issues regarding his visa.

They were, however, resolved and Varane landed in Manchester earlier this week. The France international could not be involved in United’s final pre-season game of the summer but showed off his commitment by publishing a snap of himself watching the game from his quarantine residence.

Now, the defender has appeased fans even more by posting a video on his Instagram account showcasing his neat tricks as he continues to wait for clearance to leave quarantine.

The video (above), which has a location tag on it, is captioned with ‘quarantine practice’, hinting that although he is restricted, the four-time Champions League winner is wasting no time in getting ready for the new season
