Tobin Heath has been named in the FIFA FIFAPro Women’s World XI.
In a season that was majorly disrupted by the coronavirus, causing several leagues to end prematurely, it will still be seen as a huge achievement for the eleven player who make the best XI of last term.
Last season’s European champions Lyon have three players in the World 11: Wendie Renard, Lucy Bronze and Delphine Cascarino. However, Bronze joined Man City before the new campaign started.
Another player who made a big move over the summer was Tobin Health. The US Women’s National Team winger joined the Reds on a one-year deal after spending the last 7 years with Portland Thorns, preceded by two campaigns with Paris Saint-Germain.
Heath has brought a wealth of experience with her into Casey Stoney’s side, including an honours list that includes two World Cups and as many Olympic gold medals.
We would like to congratulate Heath on the personal achievement.
