Dean Henderson says he will warn his Manchester United teammates that they cannot afford to be complacent in tonight’s Premier League fixture against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Henderson starts ahead of David de Gea on his return to the club where he had two hugely successful loan spells.
Chris Wilder’s side have struggled greatly since Henderson left and have not managed a league win all season.
And United can make it ten straight away league victories with three points in South Yorkshire.
But Henderson has urged caution ahead of kick-off.
“If we think we can just roll in here and take three points easily we’ve got another thing coming,” he told Stadium Astro.
I’ll make sure I’m onto the boys straight away.”
Henderson also explained that he was told this morning that he would be starting in this evening’s game.
He believes his consistent hard work in training has earned him his second league start for the Reds.
