Manchester United new boy Facundo Pellistri has been named on the bench tonight against Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Uruguayan winger has made appearances for the U23s but has yet to make his debut for the senior side.
He set up a goal the other night and has clearly impressed his coaches enough to get a first team call up.
We don’t know if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to introduce Pellistri tonight, but it will certainly excite fans seeing their new signing named on the bench.
Despite only after breaking onto the scene in his homeland, the 18-year-old joined United in the summer.
Facundo Pellistri has impressed United coaches with his work ethic at U23s level and is back on bench tonight. Was always going to need time to settle, but in an ideal world he should make his senior debut tonight if game is wrapped up early #mufc #UCL

He is the only right winger to join the squad for the new season, with Amad Diallo staying at Atalanta until January.
United’s front three tonight is strong and maybe the manager hopes to have the game in the bag with 30 minutes or so left to play. That would be a good time to bring Pellistri on, but how often have things gone to plan this season?
It could be a matter of getting extra attacking players on because we’re in need of a goal?
Whatever happens let’s hope United get three more points on the board.
