Popular radio show host Darren Gough has spoken out about Manchester United’s young and ‘exciting’ attacking trio of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, paying particular tribute to ‘magnificent’ and ‘exciting’ Greenwood.
When revisiting United’s latest thumping 5-2 win over struggling Bournemouth Gough highlighted just how good Martial’s goal was.
United’s young and exciting front-three are enduring a goal fest season with both Rashford and Martial successfully reaching 20-goals each in all competitions, elsewhere, Greenwood is not far behind on 15.
Addressing Greenwood’s break-out season Gough said: “They’ve got this youngster Greenwood who has been magnificent so far this season. He looks like he’s only going to get better. It’s hard not to get excited when you watch him play football.”
