The positive effects on the pitch since the arrival of Manchester United star-midfielder Bruno Fernandes has not been difficult to see. However, the Portuguese midfielder’s impact on United could be even greater than first thought.

Fernandes, 25, who joined the Reds at the mid-way point in the season back in January from Sporting Lisbon for £46.6m, according to Sky Sports News, has been a much-needed revelation at Old Trafford.

Since Fernandes’ arrival in Manchester the attacking midfielder has a highly impressive 13 goal contributions in just 14 appearances in all competitions with his most recent coming against Bournemouth in a seven-goal thriller yesterday.

The Portuguese midfielder has become an instant hit with the United faithful who refer to him as their ‘Portuguese Magnifico’. Fernandes’ popularity is set to rise again after a mouth-watering stat was revealed yesterday by popular statistician Statman Dave.

According to Dave, since Fernandes’ arrival at Solskjaer’s United the Reds have not only won more points (21) than any other Premier League side, they’ve also scored more (20) than other top-flight English side.

Manchester United’s official social media also promoted their attacking trio’s stunning form last night by highlighting how clinical the young strike force has been this season.

With a lack of goals and creativity seemingly a thing of the past, the future really does look very bright for Solskjaer’s group of fearless Reds.
