Mauricio Pochettino was spotted with Manchester United chief Ed Woodward’s PR advisor last night at the Brentford match causing a stir.
The Argentine tactician remains out of work after being sacked by Tottenham earlier this season, and he wants to return to a job in the Premier League, as per Sky Sports.
“To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League,” he said. “It’s going to be difficult, I know, and for now it’s a moment to wait and we’ll see what happens.
“It’s a moment of recovery, to think about yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready.
“I’m ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.”
Talk of him getting the Man Utd job will do the rounds again, as The Sun report that he was spotted with Neil Ashton, who is now Woodward’s new PR advisor, formerly of The Sun newspaper.
He was appointed as a consultant by United last month, so it’s interesting to see him seen with Pochettino and that will also pump up the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
That said, they don’t appear to engage in the video below…

Solskjaer probably should be worried about this — knowing Woodward’s track record for going behind the manager’s back.
Just last month we brought you news from football talk shot host Phil Brown, who claims talks between United and Pochettino have took place with the view of him getting the job in the summer.
If I was a betting man, I’d be sticking something on Poch to have the job this summer.
