Erik ten Hag press conference: His future, injuries and pundit criticism ahead of Nottingham Forest FA Cup tie

Erik ten Hag spoke to the press on Tuesday afternoon as he looked ahead to Manchester United’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Nottingham Forest.

The Reds will travel to The City Ground on Wednesday night hoping to book a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. United go into the game aiming to bounce back from their disappointing weekend defeat to Fulham, but they must also improve their performance or risk elimination.

Ten Hag was asked about the long-term future of the club following news that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ‘not completely sold’ by the Dutch coach.

The manager gave an update on the team, with Casemiro available for the trip. Rasmus Hojlund will miss the games against Forest and Man City, while Mason Mount, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia are still sidelined.

Furthermore, despite hobbling off before full-time on Saturday, Victor Lindelof is expected to be fit for the game.
