Rasmus Hojlund at risk of missing five key Manchester United fixtures

Manchester United will be without Rasmus Hojlund for between two and three weeks. The Reds will be targeting a fifth successive Premier League win when they take on Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The clash with the Cottagers marks the start of a crucial week in United’s season, with the FA Cup fifth round and the second Manchester derby of the season to follow.

There is every reason to believe United will continue their run against Fulham, even with key personnel out due to injuries. After all we’re unbeaten in our last 16 league matches against the Londoners.

Hojlund, out with a muscle injury, could miss each of United’s next fix fixtures.

That means Hojlund risks being ruled out for the upcoming fixtures against Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Man City. He is also likely to miss the clash with Everton and a potential date with Sheffield United on March 16.

All of these fixtures are key matches for United. Not just to progress in the FA Cup, but to keep our top four hopes alive.

It is understood that Ten Hag’s future will be in doubt if United fail to finish in the top four.

Ineos Sports group would see it as a massive step back if the Reds were to miss out on a place in next season’s Champions League.
