Erik ten Hag set for talks with Manchester United bosses when season ends

Erik ten Hag is scheduled to meet with Manchester United bosses for talks over his future at the end of the season.

The Dutch manager’s position has come under scrutiny this season, which hasn’t been helped by constant injuries leading to inconsistent form.

United appear to have turned things around in 2024 after rekindling their status as a top four contender. That is what happens when you go on six-match winning runs.

The Reds hope to continue that run this weekend when they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford.

However, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe now co-owner, we are finding out more information about the future of the manager.

According to The Mirror, Sir Jim Ratcliffe intends to wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his manager.

The British billionaire wants to take advantage of new expertise arriving at the club. That means Sir Dave Brailsford, Omar Berrada and prospective sporting director Dan Ashworth should all have a say on the matter.

Ten Hag’s current deal at United expires in 2025 and he earns £9million-per-year.
