Juventus join race for Manchester United target linked with Premier League switch

Crystal Palace will face a fight to keep a number of their key players this summer. Two of them are being linked with moves to Manchester United, including Marc Guehi and Michael Olise, so we’ll be keep an eye to see if the Eagles swoop away from or fall into the relegation scrap.

Roy Hodgson has left his position as manager so it will be up to Oliver Glasner to turn things around at Selhurst Park.

The former England manager, 71, was taken ill during training on Thursday and then underwent tests in hospital. He has since decided to step down to be replaced by a Europa League winner.

It remains to be seen if Glasner will keep some of the players on side that intend to leave in the summer. I don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t since the likes of Guehi and Olise will be committed to keeping Palace in the top flight.

Guehi’s value will be at its highest this summer because his contract expires in 2026.

Mike McGrath did a piece for The Telegraph this afternoon explaining the interest that surrounds Guehi and mentioned that United had their eye on Olise. However, he has since updated the story with a post on X by suggesting Juventus are prepared to join the race for Olise by offering a player in part exchange deal.

This stories develop at a rapid pace, but Olise’s injury record this season is a concern and that might prevent clubs from targeting a move when the transfer window opens. United have been linked in recent months but it remains to be seen if he will be a primary target in the summer.

Olise has a release clause and there is also interest from Chelsea, who made an approach to sign the winger last summer.

Let us know in the comments section if you would like to see either Guehi or Olise at United next season.
