Manchester United take to Villa Park this afternoon with a six-year Premier League unbeaten record on the line.

As per a statistic shared by beIN Sports, the Red Devils have not tasted defeat in the month of February since 2018; in that time, they’ve won 15 and drawn nine matches.

Of course, taking all three points from Aston Villa is the only significant aspect of the clash to the players and Erik ten Hag as they hope to close the gap on the top four. Unai Emery’s side dropped to fifth on Saturday following Tottenham Hotspur’s late win over Brighton and Hove Albion, but anything other than a loss today would see them reclaim their spot.

Eight points separate United and Villa heading into the contest and having picked up three consecutive wins in all competitions, there’ll certainly be more belief instilled into the travelling team.

As well as that, Erik ten Hag’s men pulled off a triumphant second-half comeback at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day, proving they’re able to fend off the Villans when putting in a spirited shift.
