Manchester United Avram Glazer co-owner Avram Glazer met with Pakistan cricket captain Shaheen Shah Afridi in Dubai.
The brief meeting, as seen in the video below, involved Avram gifting Afridi a signed Manchester United shirt. He also invited to cricketer to Old Trafford or to any NFL game of his choice.
Avram said: “If you ever want to come to Old Trafford, we would love to have you there, or American football game if you watch the American football game.”
Afridi shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the following message: “Thank you Avram Glazer. It was great to meet you. Eagerly anticipating attending some Manchester United and Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL games with you and to host you in my beautiful Pakistan.”

Afridi has unsurprisingly been subjected to criticism for his warm message to Avram. Who is going to be the one to tell him the Glazer family are nothing but a bunch of leaches?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Avram gifted him a counterfeit shirt.
