Manchester United turn attention to La Liga striker as Serhou Guirassy prefers Tottenham

Manchester United could turn their attention to Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri in January.

Every man and his dog knows Erik ten Hag will be keen to add extra quality to their squad to help try rejuvenate his team, which needs some improvement after a disappointing first half to the season.

While one can’t ignore the fact we’ve been plagued with injuries, it’s a shame that it is December and we’re already out of Europe and the Carabao Cup. We’re seventh in the Premier League to make matter worse.

Firstly, there are several areas Ten Hag needs to improve, but it won’t all happen in January with a United that still consists of the Glazer family.

This inevitably led to suggestions in the media that United would launch a pursuit for Stuttgart frontman Serhou Guirassy, although The Sun claims the Bundesliga goalscorer – with 17 goals to his name this season – is keen on Tottenham.

Youssef En-Nesyri is reportedly the man being seriously considered as an alternative to Guirassy. Sevilla are having an awful season and the 26-year-old is possibly set to be available for around £16 million.

That isn’t bad business for a striker with nine goals and two assists this season, especially in the current market.

Sevilla have been tipped to offload players in attempt to lower their expenses, and En-Nesyri could be one of their star players to be moved on.
