Barcelona are not interested in any proposals that could see Jadon Sancho end up in Catalonia for the New Year.
Interestingly, the reports stemmed from Spanish publication Sport stating that United had been in contact with Barcelona to offer the La Liga giants the possibility of swapping Sancho for Brazil international and underperforming star Raphinha.
This suggestion has been quickly dismissed by Mundo Deportivo because Sancho is not part of Barca’s plans because he isn’t a player that interests them.
It’s a blunt take but it comes as no surprise.
They add to their claims that Raphinha is ‘untouchable’ currently, which is something that may change in the summer transfer window.
There was nothing in British media to suggest United were trying to arrange a swap deal for Sancho. They came from Spain before being shot down in Spain.
I guess this is another transfer saga we can draw a line over.
