Serhou Guirassy entourage confident about Premier League transfer amid Manchester United links

Those responsible for representing Serhou Guirassy are confident that the striker will join a Premier League club during the January transfer window.

This update comes after Friday’s edition of Bild explained VfB Stuttgart star Guirassy is flattered after attracting interest from Manchester United. These claims have since been backed up by Sky Germany.

“Everything is still open, but he is definitely on United’s list,” Sky transfer guru Florian Plettenberg said.

The Guinea international, 27, has been one of the most in-form players in the Bundesliga this season with 16 goals and two assists in 11 games. His Bundesliga tally of 15 goals has only been bettered by Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (18).

According to 90min, United – as well as Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Tottenham and Wolves – have all been contacted by intermediaries regarding Guirassy’s situation.

The striker has a deal at Stuttgart until 2026 and that includes a €17.5 million release clause, which is valid in January.

Guirassy is due to be involved in the Africa Cup of Nations and that could complicate a January move for the striker. He turns 28 in March and he will be working hard towards completing a move to a big club in the new year.
