Manchester United desperately need a win tonight in order to ensure qualification for the Champions League knockout rounds remains in their hands.

As things stand, the Reds sit third in Group A with three points. Galatasaray are second with four points and Bayern Munich are on top with nine.

Erik ten Hag needs his players to get their own job done, but three points will likely see us overtake Galatasaray in the standings because Bayern Munich are favourites to win that game tonight.

If tonight’s results go our way, United can secure qualification by beating the Turkish champions in Istanbul on November 29. That will be a challenge considering they’ve already picked up three points ahead us at Old Trafford.

A defeat for United could see us drop to bottom place in Group A.

Speaking about United’s chances tonight, Paul Scholes is far from convinced that this team can get across the line. He is concerned about the team’s frailty and how they will struggle to cope with the hostile atmosphere.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United will qualify for the knockout stages.
