Manchester United return to Premier League action this Saturday with an away trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United.
The Red Devils entered the international break on the back of an emphatic 2-1 win over Brentford at Old Trafford, with both the equaliser and winning goal coming from Scott McTominay in injury time. After back-to-back home defeats, that victory was imperative.
Now, Erik ten Hag will be looking at how to tackle the 20th-placed Blades, who have picked up just one point in their return to the top flight this season; Paul Heckingbottom has overseen one draw and seven losses.
Meanwhile, United sit in 10th – significantly further down the table than the manager or fans would’ve hoped at this stage of the campaign. All those involved know there is some serious work to do in order to get the side back on track.
