Fred has written a touching goodbye message ahead of his Manchester United departure.
After wearing the United badge for five years, making 213 appearances and winning the Carabao Cup last season, Fred is on the verge of joining Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Reports suggest United will pocket €15 million for Fred, but the club have been trying to get him off the wage books all summer.
In a message to United fans, Fred wrote: “Today ends one of the most beautiful stages of my career. I lived the dream of wearing the shirt of one of the biggest clubs in the world. Going through ups and downs, I leave with the conviction that I always gave my best during all training sessions and games. It was five years of a true dream for me and my family. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity. Forever a Red!”
Thanks for everything, Manchester United Football Club.

United confirmed on Friday evening that the 30-year-old has agreed a deal in principle with Fenerbahce.
Fred was a popular figure in the dressing room and it’s always a sad moment for footballers when teammates leave.
The Brazilian’s departure should free up funds for Erik ten Hag to dip back into the transfer market. United have been linked with two midfielders in recent weeks, including Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat and Everton’s Amadou Onana. Both players would be considered a big upgrade on Fred.
