Fred to set to leave Manchester United.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has shared his trademark phrase ‘here we go’ to announce that Fred will be joining Fenerbahce.

Despite an approach from Galatasaray, Fred will join their rivals Fenerbahce instead and he will soon carry out his medical examinations in Turkey.

There’s a lot of movement out of Old Trafford this week, with Matej Kovar set to join Bayer Leverkusen and Harry Maguire on the verge of joining West Ham.

I think United fans will look back at Fred’s time at United fondly, but most will admit he was never quite good enough for the standards we should expect from our midfielders.

That said, I believe the 30-year-old will be a good signing for Fenerbahce and I think it’s admirable he didn’t just jump to the first Saudi Pro League club that showed an interest in him.
