Manchester United Foundation announced on Thursday they would be funding two scholarship places on their new degree course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
And, to make it even more special, the places have been endorsed and named after Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton.
I know that we’ve got many young readers who might be interested in the degree course, even if they’re not eligible for the scholarship itself. It for the first year of the BSc (Hons) Sport and Youth Leadership course.

The scholarship awarded will be a full tuition fee waiver for the full duration of the course. Scholars will also receive a cash bursary of £1,500 per year for three years.
The Manchester United Foundation continue to do terrific work to serve young people. They deserve credit yet again.
