Eric Bailly closing in on Al Nassr transfer

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is reportedly edging closer to joining Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

The French defender could link up with two former Manchester United team-mates at the Saudi club, with Alex Telles recently joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

That’s according to journalist Marc Machenoua, who claims negotiations between Bailly and Al Nassr are progressing well.

Bailly, 29, has fallen down the pecking order and it seems like his days at Old Trafford are numbered after being left out of the pre-season tour squad.

The Ivory Coast international joined United in 2016 but he’s been very unlucky with injuries during that time. Now, Bailly is behind Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof and even Harry Maguire in the pecking order

Bailly is unlikely to get a big move in Europe, after failing to impress at Marseille last season.

It looks like he will chase the money in Saudi Arabia instead.
