Romano: Rasmus Hojlund has agreed five-year deal with Manchester United, bid expected this week

Fabrizio Romano has revealed the details of Manchester United’s agreement with Rasmus Hojlund.

It is, of course, dependent on the two clubs deciding on a fee, but the Red Devils have already received a green light from the player signalling that he’s keen to make the move.

According to Romano, Hojlund has agreed a five-year deal that would keep him at Old Trafford until 2028, with United planning to submit their opening bid this week. Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla has suggested the offer will arrive by Thursday, July 27.

United’s board are unwilling to pay above £60 million for the forward.

Hojlund to fill Reds’ striker void

The 20-year-old scored nine Serie A goals last term as well as a hat-trick on his Denmark debut. He could realistically fill the No.9 void for the next decade in M16 and would play a crucial role in Erik ten Hag’s project – should a transfer be completed, that is.

United have been linked with Harry Kane and Randal Kolo Muani but as it stands, Hojlund is the priority for the club this summer.
