Manchester United could up the ante in their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund this week.
The Red Devils have long had their eye on the 20-year-old as they look to finally end their No.9 woes with a player that could lead the line for the next decade.
After welcoming Mason Mount and Andre Onana through the doors at Carrington, Erik ten Hag has his sights set on Hojlund next and according to Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla, United will lodge their opening bid by this Thursday, July 27.

Work to do in Hojlund negotiations
Atalanta have set a high valuation for their frontman and as it stands, the United board are unwilling to pay above £60 million, so it remains to be seen what their opening offer will be.
The Serie A club have made it clear that they want a cash-only deal after it was reported that the Reds had proposed a player-plus-cash swap, which certainly would’ve helped in seeing the back of certain deadwood.
