Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed personal terms with Harry Kane, as per Christian Falk.
It was confirmed this morning that the German club had lodged a €70million bid plus add-ons for the striker, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United this summer.
Since then, Kane’s entourage (his father and brother) have spoken with Bayern and reached an agreement over the potential transfer, which, realistically, is the easy part of the deal.
Next up in the process would be to talk with Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy regarding Kane’s exit, and it was this factor that forced the Red Devils to end their pursuit of the England captain, as the chairman is reluctant to sell his star man.
The 29-year-old now boasts all-time top goalscorer status for both his club and national team, so it’s clear to see why Levy is unwilling to sanction his departure.
Spurs adamant about keeping Kane
Kane has just one year remaining on his deal, hence why Bayern’s bid may be towards the lower side of Spurs’ valuation for the forward. However, they’re expected to stand firm and reject the initial proposal.
Whether or not the reigning Bundesliga champions will up the ante, or United will send over an offer of their own, remains to be seen.
He is going nowhere this window.
