After completing a medical in the Netherlands, the Iraq midfielder leaves the club in a deal believed to be worth approximately £850,000.
ESPN’s Rob Dawson claims the sale includes a buy-back clause in addition to a hefty 40 per cent sell-on.
Zidane Iqbal's move from Man United to FC Utrecht confirmed. Fee around £850k. Deal includes 40 percent sell on and a buy-back clause. Feeling at United that he isn't quite ready for the physicality of the Premier League but club not ruling out a return if he develops in Holland.

Zidane didn’t get the opportunity to do that last season, but he trained with United’s first team throughout the entire campaign. It is understood that is one of the major reasons for the midfielder deciding to move on.
As fans, we were excited by the promise Zidane showed in the academy and during last summer’s pre-season tour. We also hope FC Utrecht has the right environment for him to develop as a player.
Even though Zidane didn’t become a first team regular at United, he is still an inspiration to many younger members of the club’s youth system because he has joined a European club that will grant him opportunities.
