Manchester United will reportedly hold another meeting with Kim Min-jae as they continue their pursuit of the Napoli star.

That’s according to Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla, who confirms that a meeting is planned next week between the South Korean and the club.

Erik ten Hag is looking to get summer business done quickly, hence the early talks with Min-jae and Chelsea’s Mason Mount.

Reds ready to trigger release clause

The centre-back has a release clause of around £45 million, as per Sky Sports, which can be activated from July 1 and July 15.

If United are able to agree all terms now, then it’s just a case of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s when July comes around.

Min-jae, 26, has played a pivotal role in ending Napoli’s 33-year wait for the Scudetto, which they lifted after a truly emphatic Serie A campaign this season.

He made 45 appearances in all competitions and has received plaudits for his composure, physicality, aerial dominance and speed.
