Jack Butland has bid farewell to Manchester United after spending the second half of the campaign on loan at the club.
The goalkeeper was acquired in the winter transfer window when Martin Dubrabka terminated his loan spell prematurely to return to Newcastle United.
Erik ten Hag subsequently sought Butland from Crystal Palace to provide backup to David de Gea, though the 30-year-old made zero appearances between the sticks for the Red Devils.
Butland was only utilised as an unused substitute, so it’s no wonder why he’s been keen to find a club where he can be awarded regular game time.
