Manchester United are reportedly willing to offer a whopping €150m to sign Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.
The same report from Goal claims that Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are exploring a move for the 22-year-old superstar.
It is also suggested that Vinicius Jr could be given the number 7 shirt at Old Trafford…
However, it feels ridiculous to think that United would break their transfer record at a time there is so much uncertainty over whether the club will be sold to new owners this summer.
It’s not like any of us are expecting the Glazers to dig into their pockets at a time they could sell up after 18-years of penny pinching.
Vinicius Jr has just one more year left on his contract, which is the most likely reason we are seeing these rumours right now. The Brazil international has also been subject to lots of racism during his time in Spain and that could make him reconsider his future at the Bernabeu.
