Erik ten Hag did not give the media anything to feed off amid speculation of Manchester United’s interest in Neymar.
Ultimately, it seems as though the club are not pursuing the Brazilian and despite being approached by Paris Saint-Germain’s intermediaries regarding his availability, Ten Hag and the board do not view Neymar as a summer transfer target.
It does look likely that he will depart the Ligue 1 leaders in the forthcoming window and may even end up in the Premier League, but there are no concrete talks with any club as of yet.
In today’s pre-match press conference, the manager was quizzed on the interest in Neymar and swiftly responded: “When we have news, we will tell you.”
