Early team news for Red Devils and Wolves ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash

Manchester United host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford this Saturday in a bid to bounce back from two consecutive losses.

The Reds will take to the pitch for a 3pm kick-off in the first of their final three home fixtures this campaign.

They’ll need to use the backing of the United faithful to their advantage, too, as their recent results and performances on the road have been well below par, especially given the standings in the top-four race.

United team news

Currently, Raphael Varane’s involvement is up in the air. Erik ten Hag had previously hinted that he may return in time to take on the Midlands outfit, but he was absent from training today.

Alejandro Ganacho returned to the matchday squad for the first time since March 12 when the Red Devils took on West Ham United at the London Stadium last Sunday, however, he was an unused substitute, so hopefully he can make an appearance this weekend.

Ten Hag will likely confirm more information regarding his options when he addresses the media in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

Wolves team news

Sasa Kalajdzic and Boubacar Traore are expected to be sidelined for the trip to M16.

Chiquinho has trained but may not feature as he continues to recover from injury.
