Erik ten Hag has praised his Manchester United players for their performances against Sevilla last night.

Despite the ultimately bitter end to the game, several Reds did put in a quality shift, which deserves to be recognised.

Marcel Sabitzer netted United’s only two goals of the night in relatively quick succession as he continues to impress on his loan spell, whilst Anthony Martial returned to the starting line-up for the first time since January to provide an assist.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has seemingly become Ten Hag’s preferred right-back due to his form as of late, and he is rightfully receiving plaudits from supporters.

Post-match, the manager spoke highly of the trio amongst others, saying: “When you see the first half, I think we were in a really good shape. Aaron Wan-Bissaka played very well, Antony played very well, Marcel Sabitzer played really well. Bruno played very good and Anthony Martial as well. Also Rapha and Licha, so there were many positives about yesterday’s game.”
