Manchester United scout Real Betis winger amid interest from Aston Villa

Manchester United are believed to be showing an interest in Real Betis ace Luiz Henrique.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United have been scouting the 22-year-old winger, who is understood to have a £44 million price tag hanging over his name.

Erik ten Hag wants to fill his squad with talented youngsters with high ceilings to Old Trafford, and Henrique may fit into that category, though I think United are in a position where they need to strengthen the starting XI to compete for the biggest honours.

Then will come the time to fill the squad with talent but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be in the market for these players now.

The Spanish newspaper claims United have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian for some time and that will remain the case unless he joins another club.

Aston Villa are another club closely linked with a move for Henrique, as per Birmingham Live. Unai Emery is looking to add goals to his team and the young Brazilian has three goals and five assists in 24 games for the La Liga outfit.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should make a bid for Henrique.
