Man United loanee Eric Bailly has been banned for seven matches following a poor challenge that saw him kick an opponent in the chest.
Currently out on loan with Marseille, Bailly was in action during the club’s French Cup matchup against fourth-division side Hyeres earlier this month.
The poorly-timed challenge happened inside the game’s opening 20 minutes and resulted in the Ivorian being shown a straight red card – and as per the Daily Mail, the defender has now been handed a seven-game ban.
