Preview: Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Manchester United will be looking to move up to second place when they take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Reds go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Manchester City at Old Trafford whilst the hosts were defeated 1-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

New signing Wout Weghorst could be in starting eleven to make his debut for United against Palace.

It’s fair to say its been a good start to the year for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag.

Back into the top four and still in all three cup competitions, United have arguably made their finest start to a season since Sir Alex Ferguson retired back in 2013 but with games coming thick and fast over the coming weeks, it is pivotal United keep this winning momentum going.

Crystal Palace have endured a mixed season thus far and currently find themselves sitting mid-table in 12th place. Games at Selhurst Park has always been a tricky away fixture for United and I expect it to be no different on Wednesday. Palace can be a real tough cookie to crack at home particularly if Wilfried Zaha is on form and in order for the Reds to take three points we must not take our opponents lightly.

It wont be easy and Crystal Palace will look to make life difficult for United but despite that this is a game I am confident United will win. The Reds have been terrific over the past couple of weeks and if we turn up and play like we have been doing then we should have too much quality for the hosts and take all three points.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester United
