France have some concerns ahead of the World Cup as Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema continue their recovery protocol ahead of the World Cup. Their defence of the World Cup kicks-off in three days’ time against Australia.
According to L’Equipe, Varane and Benzema were not involved in collective training once again last night in Doha.
However, they are training separately from the rest of the team, as the video below shows:

Varane is expected to be back before France’s opener against Australia, but whether he starts is an entirely different question for Didier Deschamps.
The Manchester United defender has not kicked a ball with his team-mates since linking up with the World Cup squad and there is no point rushing him back for a game they should be winning easily. He is the only United player in the squad after Anthony Martial missed out on another chance to go to a World Cup.
