Marco Silva gives verdict on Manchester United ahead of Premier League clash

Fulham manager Marco Silva has cast his verdict on Manchester United this season ahead of Sunday’s game in the Premier League.

Manchester United travel to Craven Cottage in what is our final league game before the World Cup. Fulham are ninth and have just four less points than United, who are fifth on a quest into the top four.

The problem for United is we are going into the game after losing our last match in the league. Ten Hag’s side suffered a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend before knocking them out of the Carabao Cup.

Speaking to reporters before the match on Sunday, Silva said (via Manchester Evening News): “They haven’t been consistent like they would like to be. If they’re at their best level, they’re a really tough team to play against and that’s what we’ll prepare for.

“They have quality all over the pitch and on the bench as well. Of course, they’ve had some setbacks over the season so far but we analyse them and we know what we’re capable to do.

“There are strengths and weaknesses as well that we will try to explore. The focus is on them but the most important thing for us is ourselves.”
