Former Germany international tips Jude Bellingham for Premier League amid United links

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham has been tipped to join a Premier League side next summer.

The England international, 19, has quickly established himself at Borussia Dortmund as one of the leaders and Pep Guardiola raved about him in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

Manchester City take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League tomorrow night and Bellingham will be looking to make it two in as many games against the Premier League champions, who have been linked with a summer move for the midfielder.

It is understood that Manchester United and Liverpool are both watching the young England starlet, as per The Athletic, so there won’t be a shortage of interest from the Premier League should Bellingham decide to return home.

Real Madrid are another club rumoured to be preparing a major bid for Bellingham in the coming months, as per Marca, yet former Germany international turned pundit Lothar Matthaus believes he will join a Premier League club.

“I see him signing for a Premier League team at the end of this season in exchange for a huge figure,” Matthaus said, as per Diario AS.

Bellingham’s current deal at Dortmund expires in 2025. It would be a surprise if he agreed to new terms with so many big clubs seeking his signature next summer.

The Bundesliga outfit will be looking to maximise profits on another young English player after doing the same with United winger Jadon Sancho.

A strong World Cup could see interest intensify around Bellingham and United’s other transfer targets.
